The Morse Cove Marine family

Morse Cove Marine is a family business, with Ethan Coit in the yard, Jessica Booth in the office, and their son Frederick in the play-pen. Ethan, a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, has worked in boatyards most of his life, and is experienced in the care of all types of boats: powerboats, sailboats, workboats, and dinghys; fiberglass, wooden, and inflatable. He is also an avid sailor and regularly participates in series races out of Castine harbor.

Ethan is assisted by an able crew of seasonal staff, most of whom are also experienced boaters.

Morse Cove Marine is located on the eastern side of the Penobscot River on Route 166 (Castine Road) between Bucksport/Orland and Castine, Maine. From Route 1, follow Route 175, then Route 166 along the river, following signs toward Castine. Morse Cove Marine occupies land on both sides of Route 166. The office is on the second floor of the waterside building.
